On Friday 28th June, the Triton team hosted our second annual charity golf day at the picturesque Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club. The event brought together members of the Triton community, including some key clients and customers, for a day of fun and friendly competition in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
The day began with a welcoming breakfast and presentation delivered by Triton Group’s Commercial Director, Lauren Paver, and Triton Security’s Sales Director, Jamie Manojlovic. Lauren and Jamie thanked everyone for their attendance, and highlighted the primary goal of the event, which was to raise funds for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Martin House Children’s Hospice
Based only a few miles away from Triton HQ, Martin House Children’s Hospice provides family-led hospice care to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses. Each year, Martin House take care for more than 420 children and young people, and over 150 bereaved families across West, North and East Yorkshire.
It costs £9 million per year for Martin House to provide a high-quality care to children in need and their families. Martin House rely almost entirely on donations – Triton are proud show their appreciation by hosting 2024’s Triton Tee Off in aid of Martin House.
Fundraising on and off the green
Participants competed in teams of 4, with various challenges throughout the course, such as longest drive and nearest to the pin competitions. These elements added to the excitement of an already challenging course!
Funds were raised through games and raffle tickets to win some great prizes. Shoutout to the customers who kindly donated raffle prizes. At the end of the evening, a mini auction was held for a signed Master’s Golf Flag with an incredible back story donated by Triton Group CEO, Graham Foxcroft.
Group Commercial Director, Lauren Paver, commented; ‘We had such a great day hosting our second annual golf day at the Forest of Arden. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with some of our key customers whilst raising funds for such an incredible charity. Social value is hugely important to Triton. We are incredibly proud to support Martin House who do amazing work and are a huge asset to the local community.’
